01:25 pm: Bath Time, a little Snarry fic
I wrote a small fic. Harry is very young in his memory, so you can call this chan, but not really since nothing sexual happens.

Xikum and I are still in the "We're in shock that Death Eater Takes a Holiday is finished" mode and wrapped up a little story for you. (just under 2000 words)

Summary: Harry recovers a memory of young Severus Snape in the bath.

Ok, I was seriously thinking of calling this "Death Eater Takes a Bath", but since it's not it the same world as DETaH I came up with this not-so-very-creative name instead. :)

Xikum was kind enough to beta for me, so any mistakes I may have added are mine all mine.( Bath Time )

Chapter 88 'Of Happy Endings and Beginnings' with notes is 16,983 words.
I would have to break it up into three sections to post it here. I decided to simply put in a link to the chapter at Inkstained Fingers. (Actually, all 88 links are posted here.

10:08 pm: Hi! *waves* I'm still around.

I've let time get away from me and got caught up in all the RL stuff. In addition to reading my whole fic again, I've listened to all seven books on my iPod and have got to get back to this story.

This coming, and last chapter is over 10,000 words and is not quite done yet. I want to wrap up everything and hope I don't screw it up royally. :)

This chapter was so huge (15,000+words) that I would have had to do four separate lj cuts to post on live-journal. So…I’m going to post this as two chapters. While this will seem like the most awful cliff hanger, the rest is written, beta by the ever amazing xikum is done and ready to go. I may make you wait a day for it just to be evil. *add evil laughter here*

10:21 pm: Wow, this is the longest time ever between chapters. To be honest I think it's just been too hard for me to get to the battle and I've put it off. I think I've mentioned that in the past.

It's Xikum who deserves credit along with a few readers who have lit several fires under my arse. *wink* Thanks for not giving up on me.

In a little heads up...it is in the next chapter (86)that we see Harry making use of all the training he's received. It's also then that we get dangerously close to the end of this story. I hope I do it justice.
Please excuse any pitiful spelling as xikum hasn't seen my added notes here. ;) xikum rocks!

09:36 pm: I'm here, and alive (kinda) and RL has been and is continuing to be a B#@^&*, but has downgraded from tiresome and sometimes very sad, to only Nastily Exhausting. DETaH is not on planned hiatus, but was temporarily not a focus - Recently, things are settling a bit and it is now being worked on, just slower. I'm committed to finishing DETaH, and value the fic too much to end it quickly and shabbily, especially when I still have definite plans and an outline for what will happen. Unfortunately, my Muse has had intermittent bouts of either slinking off to nap or stare blearily into space, and running away screaming.
I've not even read anyone else's stories in a handful of weeks.

SCHOOL STARTS TUESDAY!!!! I will finally get some time to myself and have a chance to scare my Muse back into action. I promise I will never abandon this story and I am sorry it's hung on the back burner for a time. Seems like every time I've sat down to write I'm just stuck. It may be that I'm sorry to see it coming to an end and don't want to mess it up.

Thanks to Xikum and a few small fires she's lit under my arse, I'm getting worked up again. Hell, I even needed help writing this. :(
